On March 18th the world watched in shock as the news revealed Terri's feeding tube would be removed..But we thought this can't be happening in the USA, someone will step in and have the feeding tube replaced...We in this country don't starve to death animals, so surely we would not starve to death a living breathing human being! That would be pure and simple murder!!!
Each day passed with the Schindler family going from court to court, judge to judge and no one was doing anything...The judges were saying we are not going to stop this, this was Terri's wishes...Terri's wishes? Oh no...This was the wishes of a man, none other but one who claimed to love Terri and wanted to do right by her...Her husband Michael Schiavo... The loving devoted man who in one breath says he loves Terri and in the second breath says I have been living with a woman for 9 years now and we have two children together, and I don't want to have to worry about Terri anymore and I am not giving her up to her parents because I am the son of satan and have no heart whatsoever!
Most of the world prayed for Terri, and prayed someone would save this woman from starvation and a slow death...We cried for the family, we felt Terri was apart of our family and her family was our family, we loved Terri and got to know her so well...
For 13 days her family fought to keep her alive, and for 13 days they were denied that right because one Judge and one Man who called himself Terri's husband said Terri should no longer live even though her heart is beating on it's own and each breath she takes is her own, but because Terri is unable to feed herself the choice can be made to stop feeding her!!!
Her loving husband called her a vegetable, an empty shell and claimed she was brain dead...
The world saw a whole different side of Terri...We saw her laugh, and love and even try to talk with her family...
Michael may have not seen that side of Terri, why would Terri smile or show any kind of joy when he was around knowing he was doing nothing to help her, and keeping her family from doing anything to help her and keeping her family away from her!
At the hands of a man who claimed to love Terri she was treated worse than an animal, worse than a common criminal, and no one stepped in to stop it...
Those who could would not and those who wanted to were stopped...
Terri, you did not die in vain... You have changed this world forever, and we will fight to make sure that what happen to you will never happen again to someone without a voice...
Life support means that a machine is breathing for you and keeping your heart beating or you could not live, do you take someone off life support? Yes...
Feeding someone to keep them living is not life support, we all need to be fed and given water to drink to stay alive...
Can you ever imagine sitting in a room watching your child no matter what age, go without food or water for 13 days and not beable to even put a chip of ice to her lips... No Machines to unplug...Just Starvation,and you watch each day as another part of her body stops working....Until she takes her last breath with her family in the room helplessly standing by and Terri not knowing why this is being done to her!
My heart goes out to Bob and Mary Schindler, and the entire Schindler family...
Terri will forever live in our hearts...

God is waiting to wrap you in his arms with tears of sadness in his eyes as it was not your time to be with him...It is appauling to me that Dr's can play God and the courts can play God and take someones life like it is nothing!Terri's Family wanted that choice... Who are any of you to deny the family that!

Fight for Life Reminiscent of Schiavo
 A Florida woman put on a feeding tube after she had a stroke is at the center of a court case similar to the dispute over whether Terri Schiavo should be kept alive.
Karen Weber's husband wants to have her feeding tube removed and have her transferred to a hospital ward, where she would likely die.
He claims that his 57-year-old wife is in a vegetative state, but Weber's family is fighting to keep her alive, arguing she's alert and responsive.
